Arrow Electronics has been named EMEA distributor of the year in the category Highest Revenue Growth by Infineon.

The honour recognises Arrow for achieving the highest sales growth rate within the top four partners of Infineon’s European distribution network during the 2016-17 financial year.

The relationship between the two companies was already established at the time of the formation of Infineon.

Since then, Arrow’s coverage of Infineon’s complete semiconductor and system solutions has evolved across the whole of Europe. Arrow’s extensive network of branches and engineering support teams, working with customers on Infineon’s solutions, has been the key element of this close collaboration.

Arrow’s great achievement is a result of a close cooperation, joint investments into the future with a clear vision working towards a common goal”, said Susanne Horn, vice president distribution & EMS management, EMEA Infineon Technologies. “We congratulate Arrow and believe Infineon’s broad and highly reliable product portfolio and Arrow expertise will continue our sustainable growth and enable our customers designing their applications of tomorrow.”

Jörg Strughold, vice president sales, Arrow EMEA Components, commented: “Infineon plays a major role in the development and creation of semiconductor solutions that help our customers to design innovative technology applications. We are extremely proud that Arrow has been recognised for our contribution to bringing these solutions to market.”
